HALO Whole-Home Water Treatment System Installation in Marietta, GA
BF Plumbing & Drain, Inc. recently completed the installation of a HALO whole-home water treatment system in the Marietta Square neighborhood. The customer sought to enhance their home’s water quality throughout the property, ensuring clean and healthy water for all household needs.
Professional Installation and Modifications
The installation process began with the careful positioning and securing of the HALO system at the designated location. Our team modified the existing water distribution piping as necessary, allowing for seamless incorporation of the system into the home’s main water supply. New piping, fittings, and isolation valves were installed to guarantee optimal system performance and future serviceability.
Initial System Setup and Soaking Period
Following the installation, all plumbing connections were checked for security, and we initiated the required startup procedure. To condition the HALO filtration media, it was fully saturated and allowed to soak for approximately three days. This soaking period is essential for ensuring that the internal filtration media is properly hydrated before putting the system into normal operation.
Final Commissioning and System Flush
After the soaking period, BF Plumbing & Drain returned to complete the final flushing and commissioning of the HALO system. The system underwent a thorough flush to remove any residual carbon fines, manufacturing dust, and trapped air that may have accumulated during the installation process.
Comprehensive Inspections and Setup
Once the flushing was completed, we placed the system into its normal operating configuration. Each newly installed component, including piping, fittings, and valves, was inspected and rigorously tested for leaks and proper operation. The HALO whole-home water treatment system is now in full service for the customer, ensuring high-quality water throughout the residence.
